I find it amusing that Tara almost always posts to the Bivalular Coll.... Aging Cheese? Yeesh, at least spell "aging" correctly, mnkay? Anyway, it's amusing that Tara posts as other people.

Today I am posting as Liliya.
First, on the subject of the Fourth of July
"Let's all go to the mall. I want to be with all my friends and last year the
firework on the mall were amazing, and even with the rain, the atmosphere
was a lot of fun...What do you all say?"
This is a quote from the email Lil sent to the egroup, but for those of you who didn't read it, there it is again.
(By the way, speaking as Tara, that sounds great to me. But, as a warning, I'm sure as hell not organizing it. sorry, I don't feel like it.)
And Lil would like give everyone a heads up that her birthday party will be held the weekend of July 27th. More details on that will be coming later, but for now just reserve the date. Its an open invite (as long as you have talked to Lil in your life, or are coming as the date of someone who has.) If in doubt, email Lil. (and she'll tell you to come.)
Right, so, that's the news from Lil. Talk to you all later, more details on the fourth as it gets closer.

More information about Coca-Cola's DC Sessions:
What happens if it rains day of show?
Coca-Cola's DC Sessions is a rain or shine event.
What am I allowed to bring into the event?
Blankets, a disposable camera, an umbrella, and one unopened bottle of water.
Are there any items I am not allowed to bring into the event?
No pets, bags, backpacks*, coolers, picnics, recording devices, roller blades, bikes, cameras, or outside food/beverage may be brought to Coca Cola's DC Sessions. I think that you are allowed to have food (i.e. buy food from area vendors and restaurants, or if there are any in the two square blocks of the event site itself), but not bring it in. This is to encourage patronage of local restaurants sponsoring the event.
How old do I have to be to attend Coca-Cola's DC Sessions?
All ages are admitted, so if you really wanted to, you could bring a younger sibling or something. Good family fun! :)
How many bands perform every Saturday night?
Four bands.
If I lose something at the concert, where can I find it?
Any articles turned into the lost and found will be at the 9th & G Street entrance at the following week's show. Should Coca-Cola find an item with identification, every attempt will be made to contact you. If you want to make an inquiry about a specific item, e-mail a description of the item and the date that you lost the item to lost-found@eventconcepts.com.
*Food for thought: does a purse count as a bag or backpack? I'm thinking not. Opinions?

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS! IN CONCERT! AND FREE! what could possibly be better? (don't answer that.) But, everyone must come to the concert. This is on June 29th, which is a saturday. Its part of a free series of concerts sponsored by DC Sessions. Or something. But, it opens at 4:00 pm, music starts at 5:00, goes til 10:00. Also playing that night are the bands Lake Trout, Juniper Lake, and Spiraling. (none of which I know, but points for you if you do) Its outside the Smithsonian American Art Museum, G street between 7th and 9th.
I know Dyanne already sent out an email about this. But I'd love to see as many people there as possible, so I just wanted to make sure that the word got out..... So please come.
Its near Gallery Place Chinatown metro stop, what we will do is meet there. I don't know what time, but let's say... 4:00, as a tentative. I'll update on this later.
