Clarification: This 4th of July thing is not going to turn into another pitting of the individual wills against one another. The important thing is not where we go, but the fact that we go together. I don't think this needs to turn into a petty squable. Whether we go to the mall or RM is really immaterial (though at some point it does need to be decided, of course). I just fear the animosity that already seems to be brewing around the decision of where to go. We go where the largest number of people want to go (that's simple). But, more importantly, can everyone keep in mind that it doesn't really matter where we go?
I'm sorry if I seem high and mighty or something. I don't mean to, its just that I remember a similar situation arising out of the issue of senior banquet location. And it just spiraled, so let's stop before it starts. Call me a bitch if you want, whatever. But understand that I do have a point in there, someone.
