This is Tara speaking

I know there has been some confusion about where we would be going for the fireworks on the 4th. Well, that confusion has been settled now. We will be going to RM. (anyone is welcome to not join us if the wish, but I think It'll be a lot of fun. OF course, everyone is welcome to join us. )

Anyhow, the fun (for us) start at 5. Meet at RM (on the field). Anyone who wishes to come later instead, that's fine. If you do come at 5, or around there, please bring something to add to the vaguely dinner-like collection of food which will accumulate. (I'll do silverware and plates). If you could bring a blanket too, i'd love you forever.

What I would love you to do: Please, if you see this message, Email or IM me, or call me, sometimes on Tuesday. You don't need to tell me whether you are coming or not, but I'd like to know that you heard about our plans. If I don't hear from you, I'll call you on wednesday.

My IM is Smiletara, my Email, smiletara@aol.com
Phone I don't feel like putting on the web. but look it up, its in the directory for RM.
If you want to catch Tara in person (though that's hardly neccessary, but if you have questions or something), its pretty much inevitable that I'll be only between 5:30 (when I get back from work) and 6. So come online then.

Love to all, and I hope you join me.

And I'll bring monopoly.

Okay, I called more than twenty people yesterday, half of which I left messages for on their answering machines. None of those people called me back. I also haven't heard from Nick B or GPaul, even though I left messages for them with parents. In fact, Erica was the only person who left a message on my answering machine. I was out much of yesterday afternoon/evening because it was my sister's twenty-first birthday and we had to pick up my grandmother from the airport, so maybe people heard the answering machine pick up at my house and decided not to leave a message. Really, it doesn't bite! There's about five seconds of dead air before the message starts, but if you leave a message after the beep, it will actually record, strangely enough. I will call people whom I haven't heard from this evening around seven. I haven't decided where I'm going for fireworks yet myself, although I am mostly indifferent. Just to make it clear, I am not organizing any expeditions; I am only making calls. If someone would like to plan something for an indeterminate number of people, I would be delighted to be the channel through which such information is diffused, but I'm not doing anything else. I don't have internet access at home for the next week due to remodeling stuff, so don't expect any emails.
